VTVcab, SmartDTV and Samsung power iDTV & VTV services

Vietnam Cable Television (VTVCab), SmarDTV and Samsung have joined hands to boost integrated Digital Televisions (iDTVs) and VTV services in Vietnam.

VTVcab has integrated SmartDTV’s Conax certified CI Plus Instant Access conditional access module (CAM) on its smartcard which enables VTVcab subscribers to access content without using a set-top-box on iDTV sets.

VTVcab and Samsung have been conducting co-promotion and branding activities for VTV services. As a promotional offer, a voucher will be offered to those who purchase Samsung DVB-C iDTV Model J5520; voucher can be redeemed to obtain a CAM from VTVcab containing a smartcard and a free six-month subscription of HD package.
